I'm trying to come up with the best solution to this problem....
I have a document server type of website it holds several company documents uploaded by users of the site within the company. They are all organized by category and sub categories several teirs down in some cases.
I have a tree view control currently to display all of the categories and sub-cats when a user clicks a category the page refreshes and displays the documents who's category id is the same as what was selected. The problem I have is that if someone clicks a "Parent" category none of the documents display from the child categories. The parent may only have 1 file in it but the sub-categories may have several but the user will not know that unless they click the child category.
Basically if I click parent category for my results I want to see all of the files within that parent category and all files that fall under any child category - if I click the child category it would do the same and show me everything in the child and all sub-cats from there on...
Making sense?
