I have a very strange issue going on with the toolkitscriptmanager. when I run my application as http://localhost/appname, as I did for two weeks during development, it works great. I'm calling a web service from javascript and using callback methods upon completion.
However, when I run the app as http://machinename/appname, like I did this morning when I moved the app to a server for review by my boss, the first ajax request made to the web service on each page is VERY slow (a minute or more to return). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The app is a .net framework 3.5 application, running on IIS (6 or 7). To make matters worse, it works perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but not in IE 8 or 9.
I'm at a loss here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
