The search button on my page is causing a full page post back, rather than the partial post back to just the update panel. This has worked in every version of IE until 10. If the browser is in compatibility mode it works fine. We are using .net framework 4.0. I have the update mode set to "Conditional" and the search button as a trigger. I don't want to instruct our uses to always be in compatibility mode. I have done some reading and tried some fixes, but nothing seems to do the trick. Any suggestions?
