I encountered an AJAX caveat and spent two days to understand and resolve the problem. Seen similar complaints on the net but there was no resolution. Decided to post it here to save someone's time in the future.
The problem - Input controls like Hidden Field, Buton, Textbox inside an Update Panel seem not updated after asynchronious postback.
Lets take a sample scenario of a hiddenfield in an update panel.
