Hi guys,
I'm looking for some help with using the update panel and the standard chart control in Visual Web Developer. I am using master pages and content pages with the trigger controls being in my master page so I have put the update panels in my master page within each relevant content placeholder.
This has worked fine so far with no annoying flickering on my content pages but only with controls that aren't charts. I don't seem to be getting that seamless update on charts and still get the flickering as it takes a second or 2 to re-draw each of the charts.
So my question is whether update panels actually work with chart controls and if there is anything in particular I should be doing to speed up the re-drawing of the charts. I have about 5 charts on each page.
