First off, I am pretty sure this is not possible: Due to security / pipeline structure, however I want to pick some brains here to see if there is any other thoughts expereiences regarding this.
Here is a scenario:
- ASP.NET web site, hosted on the internet/online
- Local PLC type TCP connected LAN devices on any given local network
- WIFI connection to the internet via a wireless access point connected to the same LAN connectd to the PLC
- ASP.NET online website is accessed while connected to this WIFI connection
Is it even remotely possible to utilize this online ASP.NET website to access local LAN resources prsent on the WIFI connection.
I have made a rough sketch of the overall process to help illustrate what I am trying to accomplish.
